Video Games Are Not a Waste of Time

I was listening to the radio last night when the host said, “less than 1% of persons under the age of 29 read novels anymore.” She mentioned two other statistics, “only 50% of students know who Adolf Hitler was” and “just 2% know that the American Civil war took place during the second half of the 1800s.” She went on to blame playing “mindless video games” as the culprit to the demise of education.

Day 3

I stood outside Archet mentally preparing for my upcoming encounter and subsequent combat with an armed intelligent being. “This is quite different than wolves and spiders” I thought to myself.

Day 2

I woke up bright and early, ate two breakfast in one sitting, and waddled out of the Inn, stuffed to the max.  I bumped into a woman named Kate.  She mentioned Amdir had left last night, and returned with two hobbits, one of which was Celandine.  Unfortunately, Kate revealed that Amdir was wounded during the rescue.

This is a Lord of the Rings Shadows of Angmar character blogish journal.  I created a fallohide hobbit hunter named Kylven Huntwithgrin Jr. on the Landroval server.  I also created a Rohan Captain named Cortei to chronicles some random adventures elsewhere.
