Total War Campaign Chronicles

Welcome to this Medieval II Total War Campaign Chronicles Blog by Attila

This post is an update that explains what was this blog what you can find on it, why it was created and what you should find interesting about it.

The Mission
This Blog Was created to give more contextual information around the Video created by Attila16 on youtube. The original chronicles was the Carthaginian Chronicles composed of Carthaginians campaign videos and battles for a total of 87 episodes. Those video are currently exclusively available on youtube.

Following the great popularity of that series of video base on the video game Rome Total War, the German Chronicle started. Since the strategy use by Attila brought a lot of question, he created this blog to give contextual information about his German Chronicles.

With the publishing of Medieval II Total War by SEGA and Creative Assembly, Attila moved to this new video game. He then created a Sicilian Chronicles compose of 17 episodes showing the learning of the game and some really nice battle.

After this exploration Attila improved the concept with the Polish Chronicles with 37 episodes, showing both the campaign and the battles with very good explanation of the strategy use and motivation behind them.

The 47 Turkish Chronicles then followed and probably were the most complete chronicles showing both the campaign level of the game and the battle. After the victory, the chronicles skipped ahead to the war against Mongols. So this Chronicles was one of the favourite and worth a look showing some useful strategy to fight the Mongols.

Finally the last chronicles from Attila was the Holy Roman Empire chronicles with 19 episode was done by democratic choice and was publish on dateyourgame.com

The move to dateyourgame.com was made to allow people to contribute to the blog and share interest about a larger diversity of video game.

The move to dateyourgame.com also mean that the Medieval II Total War blog is no longer active but still contain a lot of really useful information about how to play and we encourage you to read it and check the Archive on your Right

Enjoy the battles and feel free to leave comment =)

Ready for Patch 3.0.2 in the Morning

I don’t know about you, but I’m pumped about the big patch day tomorrow. It’s slated on the login screen for a 12-hour maintenance window. We’ll see how long they really stay offline, but it will be well worth it. I remember the fun we had when they released 2.0 before BC came out, and [...]

Got Lag? Lag to the extreme. The all new Lag’Ganis.

Ever since Blizzard started PvE to PvP transfers, we’ve been suffering some really bad lag during the night, making it impossible to raid — Grats for progression. You might be asking how bad? Because of this we’ve kind of been missing a lot of raids lately, it’s usually ok by the time we start the raids, but [...]

Warhammer Army - A WAR Blog

Warhammer Army Blog

Since there is so much confusion about how experience is earned in Warhammer Online Scenarios, I thought that I would write a Warhammer Scenario XP Guide.  This Warhammer Guide will explain how xp is calculated during PvP scenarios.

So here is how XP is gained in Warhammer Scenarios.

  1. Kills give XP.  These can be your kills or your team’s kills.
  2. If an opponent is killed that you or your team inflicted at least some damage on before they died, you and your team gains XP.  Therefore make sure that you hit as many people as you can.  AOE damage is great for this.
  3. The XP gained by all of the players in your group is pooled and then distributed to each group member.
  4. The XP that you gain is ratio’d to your level.  The higher your level the more XP you will get from your group’s pool of XP.
  5. You get XP if your team wins a scenario.

If you know of any other factors that contribute to XP from Warhammer scenarios, please tell us about them in the comments below.  I will add them to this Warhammer scenario XP guide.
