The Civilization franchise is a collection of complex turn based nation building and strategic warfare games. Initially, it’s difficult to learn, but it certainly is well worth it. The game develops from the Stone Age to the Space Age, and includes all the obstacles in between; war, diplomacy, culture, espionage, science, etc… The amount of strategy and tactics possible are immeasurable. Such variety makes way for very entertaining tales of conquest, stories of intrigue, fan fiction, and narrations of epic scale.
