A bar...somewhere strange...somewhere VERY strange…

...

“Hey, Don Deity, how are you doing?”

“Well, all right...but I can’t stop thinking about my ongoing civilisation project…”

“But there isn’t much to worry I thought, last time you passed by here, you told me that your English are doing fine….”

Warlords 2.08/2.13, huge random continents map, epic speed Ok now, so this will be the second game I’m going to describe here in stories and tales. Unlike the first one (which I already had played up to 1000 AD before deciding to write about), I haven’t started this game, so the outcome of this one will be very interesting, thanks to difficulty level.

A Persian Leader Page 2

After what Qin had sad, I was quite confused. So I went to ask my foreign advisor, if Qin had gone mad recently, because what he has said simply couldn’t be true. But to my great surprise I had to find out, that we in fact had bribed Monty into attacking China. The order came directly from the Oldest One and was signed in my name. We even gave Monty all our new found technologies (library and economics)…

A Persian Leader

I’m just playing a game on earth map, which you can download at Civfanatics.com, where all civs are enabled. Im playing the standard version of civ 4 (not warlords), with the actual patch.
I never before played on a huge map an with marathon speed (so now you know allready some of my settings) an i must say, I’m quite impressed with this game-settings.

Part 1: The Pitch

“Next!” Caesar said, with a sigh and more than just a hint of impatience in his voice. Before him, a clerk bowed and scurried out through the door.

“Getting tired, old man?” an amused voice next to him asked.

Princes of the Universe

Foreword: It’s been a running joke in the Civilization community. For a game that tries to include as many real-life historical elements as possible, one of the most unrealistic is the use of seemingly-immortal leaders who run their respective civilizations for 6000 years or thereabouts. After all, the real-life leaders represented in the game are all the more remarkable for the fact that they led brief lives like the rest of us—some briefer than others—yet still managed to create a lasting impression, for better or for worse, that has lived on for centuries after they died.
